Homeopathy has been around for hundreds of years and is more widely used to treat people. What you may have noticed over the years, is its rise in popularity in improving our pets' health and well-being. It is a natural alternative to encourage our pets' immune system to help remedy common acute symptoms. It assists the natural defence mechanism of the body in healing and improving well-being.
Rebecca, our very own acute practitioner, is registered with the College of Natural Health & Homeopathy. Accredited by the Acute Prescribing using Homeopathy with in-depth knowledge of the NZCH's Rules of Practice and Code of Ethics.
Here at Paw Face, our practitioner treats each pet as an individual. The aim is to identify and stimulate their very own healing ability, then suggest remedies for common acute conditions like cuts, scrapes, bruises, fevers, cases of flu, and stomach upsets to name a few.
We work with you and your pets to discover their behaviours, lifestyle and understand any health concerns you may have. We carefully analyse all information gathered, so the most suitable remedy can be chosen for your pet's well-being.
On completion of our session, our practitioner will provide a prescription for your preferred homeopathic dispensary. For all conditions outside of what is understood to be acute homeopathy, we may refer you to a chronic homeopath.
Yes, we come to you! In-home consultation locations include Opua, Paihia, Haruru, Kawakawa, Kerikeri and Waipapa. If you are outside of these areas, please call us as we do travel frequently. We also do video calls as well for those that live outside the area.
Please note: Acute Animal Homeopathy is a complementary therapy. It is not a cure or a suitable substitute for required veterinary care. Please also know that remedy costs are not currently included in the price.
